The 11th annual Swingin For A Reason Golf Tournament will be held Friday, June 2, at the Hurricane Golf Course in Bryant, Tee times at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The cost of the 4-man scramble is $500, and the event is a fundraiser for Bryant Boys & Girls Clubs. The Farmers Market in Downtown Benton will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday,June 3. The market is located at 125 West Ashley St. in Benton.

A Lunch n Learn program featuring Anna Vick, sales manager for Sanlor Technologies, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at the upstairs conference room at Bishop Park. Benton Juneteenth will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 17 in Ralph Bunche Park, 1300 S. East St. in Benton. The free event will feature Black-owned businesses, with music, vendors, games, Quilted History with Carolyn Williams, and reading of a proclamation.
