This Sunday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m., at Benton First United Methodist Church, 200 N. Market, Sandy Knoernschild, the organist for the church, will be performing a Christmas concert.

The concert is titled “Christmas at the Keys”. The concert is open to the public and free to attend. Knoernschild will play Christmas pieces on the piano and organ. The afternoon will begin with Knoernschild playing the Christmas classics, like “Silver Bells” and “White Christmas”. Following the classics, Knoernschild will play the Christmas music she described as sacred and religious Christmas carols, like “Silent Night” and “First Noel.”

“It should be a fun night and the second half especially when we go into the carols will make for a very meaningful night,” said Knoernschild.

In addition to the concerts, there will be a special guest arriving for the children in attendance.

“This is a wonderful way to begin the season of Christmas,” said Knoernschild.
