Billy Faye Roberts

On Thursday, May 19, 2022, Billy Faye Roberts was called home by our Lord Jesus Christ at age 91. The world has lost a great father, husband and leader. Bill was born in Campti, Louisiana, on Dec. 3, 1930. His mother and father were Everett Faye Roberts and Mable Roberts, of Colfax, Louisiana, where Bill grew up and graduated high school.

He is survived by his three sons, Mike

Roberts, Pat Roberts and David Roberts; his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Amaryllis June Roberts.

An avid outdoorsman, Bill’s passion in life was to hunt and fish the great outdoors. He never stopped planning the next hunting or fishing trip. Bill served in the U.S. Army Air

Corps and the U.S. Air Force. He served our country for 28 years as IT specialist in communications. The military took him to some 62 countries in his storied career. After the military, Bill went back to college to get his master’s degree in business management at LA Tech. After 18 years with the U.S. Post Office, he retired for a second time.

The family invites all friends and family to a visitation at Niland’s Funeral Home in Livonia from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 .

A graveside service will follow at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church Cemetery.
